    Ashtoreth, iframes, Hton, Nemanja Pavlović X Tribute to Alvin Lucier

  2. Prvi beogradski Live Soundtrack u 2023 vam donosi gostovanje belgijskog projekta Ashtoreth, koji će izvesti polučasovni vokalni drone - perkusivni set za dva filma, kao i premijeru elektronskog projekta iFrames, meditativnog dua Hton i ambijentalnog gitariste Nemanje Pavlovića.
    Drugi deo programa je posveta američkom avangardnom kompozitoru Alvinu Lucieru, simbolično na njegov rođendan, te interpretacija njegovog komada "I Am Sitting in A Room" u izvođenju muzičara Gorana Lončarevića.
  3. Ashtoreth

    Ashtoreth je projekat Petera Verwimpa iz Antverpa, koji kanališe minimalne i meditativne dronove, i orijentisan je na katarzično eksperimentisanje na razmeđi folka, post roka, psihodelične muzike. Uvek u formi slobodne muzike – improvizacije i u potrazi za šamanskom perspektivom.

  4. Iframes

    Iframes je projekat elektronske muzike Damjana Brkića, gitariste, kompozitora, improvizatora i programera iz Beograda, koji je na lokalnoj sceni aktivan i u grupama Crno dete, Klopka za pionira i The Cyclist Conspiracy. Beskonačni sveti loop, od nojza, džeza, turbo etna i ambijentalnog panka, kreiran na licu mesta pomoću sintisajzera i kompjutera, gradi se i razgrađuje u krug dobijajući stalno nove oblike. Tako zvuči Iframes uživo, a najnovije studijske snimke možete čuti na albumu Crossorigin iz 2022. godine:

    HTON je zvučna eksploracija dubokih egzoteričnih i ezoteričnih prostranstava, Ivana Marinkovića i Gorana Lončarevića.

  6. Nemanja Pavlović

    Nemanja Pavlović je gitarista i kompozitor koji se ambijentalnom muzikom bavi poslednje tri godine, aktivan je na youtube kanalu NP Guitar i svoj prvi album je izdao pocetkom godine. Najveći uticaj na njegovu muziku su imali Andy Othling, Lowercase Noises, Pery Frank, Hammock, Monochrome Seasons.

  7. TRIBUTE TO ALVIN LUCIER : I AM RECORDING IN A ROOM

    ’I Am Recording In A Room’ je live rework/reinterpretacija zvučnog komada, američkog eksperimentalnog muzičara ALVIENA LUCIERA (14.5.1931-1.12.2021), ’I AM SITTING IN A ROOM’ iz 1969. u kojem kompozitor beleži audio zapis sopstvenog glasa izgovarajući stvaralački proces: ’snimanje snimka snimanja’ i njegovo reprodukovanje iznova (potencijalno beskonačan broj puta), a kao omaž povodom njegovog 92. rođendana.
    ’Soba’ iz Lucierovog rada zamenjena je neidealnim procesom A/D i D/A konverzije, a ’glas’ kratkom elektro-akustičnom kompozicijom kojom bi se ispitalo da li nastaju novi i drugačiji ’zvučni pejzaži’ promenom digitalne rezolucije.

  9. Gavin Hipkins - A Place in Cosmos (New Zealand, 2020, 10’)


    Located in rural Aotearoa New Zealand, a full-scale concrete adaptation of Stonehenge is an active observatory and portal to other worlds. Shot on Super 8mm, this end-of-time silent film navigates science fiction tropes through spatial circularity and cosmic rhythms

  10. Josh Drake - Lightmare (US, 2020, 10')


    Lightmare was inspired by a group of youths who used to race motorcycles by my house. They would sometimes ride when I was trying to get my young daughter to sleep and caused great aggravation for me. The neighbors became quite worried as well and eventually the police were engaged to stop the racing, unsuccessfully. Stories began to spread about who the youths were and what poor conditions their parents were raising them in. The film attempts to capture the anxiety of the neighborhood, using negative space as a mask to subvert the audience’s expectations of horizon and depth. In contrast, much of the content underscores the triviality of the perceived threat. High levels of film grain enhance the effects of pareidolia, paralleling the human impulse to create stories for the unknown riders.

  11. Leonardo Pirondi - In Search of Mount Analogue (US, 2021, 4’)

    In Search of Mount Analogue journeys through ocean and land, bringing life to the imagined, metaphorical, and mysterious island from the 1952 novel, “Mount Analogue,” by René Daumal. The film uses 16mm film to capture computer-generated images that create an immersive, but rather odd, landscape of Mount Analogue.

  12. Nick Twardus - The Fabricated Wild (US, 2020, 10’)


    The Fabricated Wild explores the intersections between the natural and artificial within the Florida wilderness using personal film-making technology. Images strictly of the natural landscape are sequenced to break from traditional cinematic viewing techniques. Images foreground the natural Florida landscape in the frame and communicate how cinema fabricates the expansive wilderness. The Fabricated Wild frames the complex interaction between a frustrated filmmaker and the collective unconsciousness of the natural environment, a theory outlined by Carl Jung, considering the implications and discoveries along the way. The film frames the experience of interacting with and revealing the forest’s collective unconsciousness that is frequently hidden in cinema to call for an experimental way to engage with the natural landscape. 16mm, Super 8.
